Birth is not only about making babies.

Birth is about making mothers—strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.

Rachel De La Cruz

Ra

I am Rachel, and I live in Gilbert Arizona with my husband Charleston, our beautiful baby boy Cassius and our remarkable rescue dog Rumble.
I have always been passionate about all things health and fitness, but it was while working at Fitness Quest 10 San Diego CA, (focusing on strength training, nutrition, physical therapy, bodywork and mindset) that this passion was truly ignited and took my enthusiasm to the next level.
Even before considering pregnancy myself,  I was fascinated by the many ways we, as women, can prepare and fine tune our bodies to meet the physicality  of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.
I believe firmly that by focusing on our nutrition and fitness we can meet this crazy, unpredictable and life changing event with confidence in our bodies. This confidence is the key to experiencing healthier, safer and more satisfying outcomes in pregnancy birth and beyond.
